01Who we are
BLKBOX UAS is a pre-flight compliance service for UAS operators, operated by BLKBRD CO LLC, doing business as BLKBOX UAS, based in Tennessee, USA.
This policy covers the website at blkboxuas.com. When the BLKBOX app opens to users, it will collect operator records such as certificates, insurance and aircraft details. We will publish an updated policy covering the app before it collects any of that.
02What we collect
When you file an access request, we store:

We don't store your IP address with your request, and we don't ask for your Part 107 certificate number or any other identification on this site.
When you browse the site, we don't collect or store anything about you ourselves. The services that deliver the site see some technical information, described in section 04.
When you email us, we keep the email and your address so we can reply.
03How we use it
- To reply to your request and contact you about BLKBOX access and launch.
- To decide who to invite first and what to build first.
- To keep the form free of spam and abuse.
We don't use your information for advertising, we don't sell or rent it, and we don't share it with anyone except the service providers in section 04, or when the law requires it.
If we send you more than access and launch updates, such as a newsletter, every message will include a way to stop receiving them.

Each provider handles that information under its own privacy policy. These providers may process data in the United States and other countries.
05Cookies
BLKBOX does not set cookies on this site. Cloudflare may set a short-lived, strictly necessary security cookie if it needs to tell real visitors from automated traffic. It is not used for tracking or advertising.
06How long we keep it
We keep an access request until BLKBOX opens to you and you've set up an account, or until you ask us to delete it, whichever comes first. We delete requests that are more than 24 months old even if neither has happened.
Cloudflare and Google keep their own technical logs on their own schedules.
07Your choices
You can ask us to:
- Tell you what we hold about you.
- Correct it.
- Delete it.
- Stop contacting you.
Email us from the address you filed with, so we can match the request to your record. We respond within 30 days, usually much sooner. We don't charge for this and won't treat you differently for asking.
Depending on where you live, you may have further rights under local law. We'll honor them.
08Security
The site is served only over HTTPS. Access requests are stored in Cloudflare's infrastructure, and only BLKBOX staff can read them. No system is perfectly secure; if we learn of a breach affecting your information, we will notify you as the law requires.
09Children
BLKBOX is a service for commercial UAS operators and is not directed to children under 13. We don't knowingly collect information from them. If you believe a child has submitted a request, contact us and we'll delete it.
10Changes
When we change this policy, we update the revision date at the top. If a change affects how we use information you've already given us, we'll email you before it takes effect.
